Mark Oughtred has a real passion for all things food, with some of his fondest memories catching wild trout with his dad, and cooking them up there and then on the river bank on a little gas stove. If not found shooting pheasants, grouse or pigeons for the pot he is on the river bank attempting to catch his first Cornish Salmon, which are proving elusive!
Mark has a background in Food Marketing and joined Slow Food Cornwall in early 2008. Slow Food Cornwall represents everything he stands for, combining good food appreciation and its origins with a great social emphasis, and he’s proud to be part of that as treasurer for the committee.
