A CORNISH WALK AND TRADITIONAL CREAM TEA

A gentle walk (dogs welcome), to view the famous Jubilee Rock and its magnificent surroundings on Bodmin Moor in the company of historian PETER DAVIES. Peter iseminently knowledgeable about Cornish history and the Moor.
The planned walk is a gentle 1 1/2 hours, beginning in and around the village of Blisland. Peter will also show us the ancient church of St Protus & St Hyacinth in Blisland, chosen to represent John Betjeman, for his centenary celebrations.
After the walk we reassemble for tea around the corner at The POTTER'S BARN, Wenford Bridge, St. Breward. A delicious full-on, home-cooked Cornish Cream Tea is being especially prepared for us. The Potter's Barn is minutes from the Camel Trail, so after tea we can walk off any excesses, if necessary!
