Slow Food Cornwall are organising an event which will involve visiting
three most interesting
Local venues, namely, Prindl Pottery, Cornish Orchards and Polraen
Country House Hotel.
The proposed itinerary which is yet to be finalised is:
10.30 PRINDL POTTERY, LANHYDROCK
Visit Local potter, Chris Prindl, to see his beautiful studio set in a
traditional forge. He will demonstrate his skills on his wheel and talk
about his authentic pieces.
A good opportunity to buy useful and unique pieces for the table and
kitchen.
12.00 VISIT CORNISH ORCHARDS, LISKEARD
Visit Cornish Orchards for an exclusive tour of the Orchard Gardens with Andie Atkinson, plus tastings and testings of some of the many
juices/wines and cider.
1.0 LUNCH AT POLRAEN COUNTRY HOTEL, LOOE
An award winning small country hotel owned by Gill and Martin Bridges.
The lunch will be sourced from local seasonal produce. Prices to be
confirmed.
AFTERNOON – Free time to visit Looe to buy locally caught fish for
supper!
