SLOW FOOD CORNWALL WORLD OF TASTE DINNER
The mission of the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity is to organize
and fund projects that defend our world’s heritage of agricultural
biodiversity and gastronomic traditions.
To develop this work in the UK , and reflecting the growth of the
movement in this country, Slow Food is opening a dedicated UK National
office to which the funds raised from the World of Taste Dinner will
contribute.
The Slow Food Cornwall World of Taste Dinner was the last of 20 such
events around the UK, all of which have featured products from the
Foundation’s ‘Ark of Taste’ and the Slow Food Presidia.
THANK YOU
We are most grateful for the main event sponsors without whose
generosity and hard work, in particular Paul Drye at St Austell Brewery
and Lauren Menzies at the Eden Project, this dinner would not have been
possible.
Our special thanks goes to:

St Austell Brewery - who provided us with chefs and ingredients as well
as the award winning Catering Development Manager, Paul Drye and his
team.

Eden Project - who provided us with a spectacular and fitting location,
with special thanks to Tim Smit, Gaynor Coley, Dr Jo Readman, Dr
Andrew Ormerod and Lauren Menzies and her team.
