17th July 2007 - Kevin Viner Tasting evening - Summercourt 7pm for 7.30pm
Viners Bar and Restaurant, Carvynick, Summercourt, Newquay
Join us for a special evening at Viners, sharing a menu tailored for Slow Food Cornwall, and with Kevin himself to talk to us about the products featured. As many of you will know, Kevin was the first Michelin-starred chef in the county and acts as an ambassador for local produce, keen to be a mentor to the next generation of passionate chefs.
We look forward to seeing both new and familiar faces at this event. As well as the chance to catch up with other members, we intend to bring you news of the wider Slow Food world and of the next year's schedule of events. Places are limited, so please contact Jan Bright (janbright@hotmail.co.uk or 01209 831039) asap. Cost: £30 for members, £35 for non-members
How to find Viners: Carvynick is just off the main A30 route through the centre of Cornwall. Simply take the exit near Summercourt - the A3058 heading for Newquay, then follow the Viners signs, left towards Carvynick. You will find Viners on the right, half a mile along the road.
