Pudding Club
Windswept Café, Fistral

Slow Food Members and friends are invited to a special Pudding Club
event at The Windswept Café at Fistral Bay. The date of 21st November
2006 has been booked and the time and menu are still to be confirmed.
The price will be a special rate of £16 per head.
The Windswept Café is built on the site of the old lifeguard hut at the
Pentire end of Fistral Beach and is run by Ruth Macpherson who is keen
to promote the delights of desserts. Ruth says: ‘The delight of a good
dessert is often lost these days, so we want to revive that excitement,
and for one night a month concentrate on puddings! We will start the
evening at 7.30 pm and everyone will have a simple main course, which
will be followed by 4 puddings, the challenge being to get through all
the puddings! We will run a competition for the the favourite pudding on
the night which will then win a place on our dessert menu for that
month’.
